Overview

Centro Deportivo Coyoacán, A.C., established in 1977, stands as a pioneering model for integrating renewable energy within recreational facilities. The centre was originally created to provide a space for physical, mental and social wellbeing, for the employees and families of its founding institutions. Over the years, it has evolved to become a beacon of sustainability in urban Mexico City, leveraging solar energy across its installations to significantly reduce its environmental impact, enhance its energy independence and reduce its operating costs.
