Pool Horizons Summit
Barcelona 2026
Two years after the first Pool Horizons Summit in 2023, we returned to Barcelona to continue exploring how swimming pools can enrich lives and strengthen communities around the world.
This year’s Barcelona summit turned its gaze towards Mexico and Asia, regions where the cultural and social value of water is deeply felt and where new stories are unfolding. From Mexico’s rich diving tradition to Asia’s drive to make swimming a life skill for all, these perspectives challenged us to look beyond design and technology and to think about what pools mean as spaces for education, empowerment and inclusion.
